It is an art of capturing the creation of man-made things, god's creation, scenic beauty and no matter what, on the small canvas of your camera. Isn't it an art?
A camera records the radiation of these images on a film or an electronic sensor that completes the process of photography! I won't go into the scientific details, but now the art is used in a lot of ventures like business, science, art and pleasure. The word "photography" is derived from the Greek f?? (phos) "light" + ??af?? (graphis) "stylus", "paintbrush" or ??af? (graphê) "representation by means of lines" or "drawing." If the two words are collaborated, then the meaning comes out to be: "drawing with light." It is a medium of self-expression.
In scientific terminology, the products of photography are known as negatives and photographs, that are called as “photos” by the general people.
Cinematography, on the other hand, is that faculty of photography that deals with the process of making lighting as well as camera choices in the maneuver of recording photographic images for the cinema.
Photography forms a hobby as well as a profession. The industry is enhancing day by day! And that is why the art also gained the attentiveness and concern of many scientists and artists from its inception. Everyone is attached to photography in some way or the other...
