The term graphics is used to describe visual presentations such as those on a wall, computer screen or paper. These are created to illustrate or simply to entertain. Examples include photographs, drawings, Line Art, graphs, diagrams, or other images. Graphics often combine text, illustration, and color.

The term computer graphics includes almost everything on computers that is not text or sound. In the present-day world nearly all computers use some graphics and users expect to control their computer through icons and pictures rather than just by typing. A well-made graph can present statistics in an easy-to-understand form.

To come to the other half of this category, multimedia might be defined as the seamless digital integration of text, graphics, animation, audio, and motion video in a way that provides individual users with high levels of control and interaction.

Multimedia is usually played, displayed or accessed by content processing devices, such as computerized and electronic devices, but can also be part of a live performance

Today, multimedia Web pages include sound graphics, video and animation. Web developers are increasingly opting for Flash to add more flair to boring Web pages.
