Usually, the word Beauty denotes certain characteristics about a person, place or object. It is studied as part of the aesthetics, sociology and culture. It is one of the most commercialized words of today. Beauty standards and practices have changed over time.

The study also revealed that, women on an average spent 19 minutes per day treating and altering their faces. One of the main reasons behind this, is the increased number of advertisements that show beauty products as women's right and independence.
