Books are Fun, they are full of knowledge, and they can be your best companion. They are a collection of written, printed or drawn material and are made of paper, or other material, usually tied together to form one final utility. Leaf is the name that is given to a single sheet of a book, and each side of a leaf is called a page. But if you have a habit of reading online books, then there is a name to that also. They are known as e-books.
There are thousands, in fact millions of subjects on which books are published. In library and information science, books are often known as a monographs, the term that distinguishes them from other study materials like a newspaper or a magazine. The body of all written works including books is literature. When you read a novel, you might have noticed that it is further divided into other large sections, also called books (Book 1, Book 2, Book 3, etc).
And if you are a lover of book, then there is a term of you as well: You would be called a bibliophile, a bibliophilist, or a philobiblist, or, more informally, and in extreme cases, a bookworm as well. But there is nothing wrong in these terms.
